Bethesda Softworks have already released the first pack of downloadable content for their hit RPG, Fallout 3, however their next two scheduled content releases have been delayed by a short amount of time.

“The next DLC for Fallout 3, The Pitt, will be out in March,” Bethesda marketing VP Pete Hines told GameSpot. “Broken Steel will be out the following month, in April.”

The Pitt takes place in a new city that has rose from the ashes of Pittsburgh, PA. It has players forced to side with a faction in a conflict within the town.

Broken Steel will pick up from the end of the game and raise the level cap to 30.

If I have to hear about this game one more time I think I’ll puke. It seems like X-Play has mentioned Fallout 3 almost every day this week and has been talking about the game in some form of fashion for the past 2+ weeks. The game can’t be THAT good.

Thing is there’s just so much to do in the game. Try picking it up. ;-)

Maybe I’ll rent it. I’d hate to spend $60 bucks on something I won’t play. I still have barely scratched the surface of MGS4 because I don’t have enough time to play. If Fallout 3 offers that much it could be wasted on me as the game could sit for months before I get a chance to touch it.

I’m already planning on giving up GTAIV because 1) the controls suck and 2) I just don’t have a lot of hours to spend playing anymore. I haven’t logged into CoD4 in weeks, I still haven’t finished Mirror’s Edge yet; there’s so much to do and yet I still plan on buying SFIV and Killzone 2 on day one. Fallout 3 will just get lost in the mix.

Even worse I was thinking about buying a 360 but I’m definitely holding off on that. That’s all I need, another system that will only get turned on because I like looking at the interface, which is, honestly, the only reason I want one anyway. The only game I’d get would be Gears 2 and I might buy a few arcade games but I’m mainly attracted to the NXE and not much else.
