Demon’s Souls Sells 37k Its First Week in Japan
From Software’s recently released RPG in Japan, Demon’s Souls, seems to be quite the popular title as it’s sold out everywhere you can think of. Just before the weekend, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan put out 15,000 more copies, all selling out and totalling up to a good 37,000 copies sold in only the first week.
The sales of the first week put the game in fourth for best-selling new IP for the PlayStation 3 in Japan. First being White Knight Chronicles (203k), second being Valkyria Chronicles (78k), and third, LittleBigPlanet (47k).
