Final Fantasy XIII Site Update Promises Trailer on Wednesday
Today’s Final Fantasy XIII website update confirms that the countdown across the three sites for the game is indeed a countdown for a brand new trailer. The countdown ends on Wednesday and we’re eagerly anticipating this new spectacle. The site update also comes with some direct-feed shots of Sazh Katzroy and his baby Chocobo (that thing’s so cute).
Now what we need is some new information on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. What’s going on Nomura?

If this is yet another CG trailer I’m not going to be happy. We all know SquEnix can create stunning CG scenes with a level of quality on par with the best animation studios in the world. But a bunch of pretty CG models we’ll never have control over is useless.
They’ve been showing nothing almost nothing but CG trailers for almost 2 years. I think it’s high time we see some actual gameplay.
The worst part about it, us Yankees won’t see the game for at least another year. Good thing we’ll have lots of games to keep our attention this year so the wait isn’t as painful.
