Square Enix have released some new bits of information on Final Fantasy XIII through Famitsu online. The trailer shows us the heroine Lightning entering a train with passengers deporting Cocoon. Those passengers also include Vanille and Snow, who is the head of a resistance movement fighting against the theocratic government of Cocoon.

All enemies are visible on the field map. Going from exploration to a battle is a seamless transition. The game uses an enhanced Active Time Battle System with command-based controls. You select your commands based off your amount of action points. Some attacks or commands require more action points than others. Shown in the images are also a bonus gauge and above that we see the number of chain attacks in the battle. No word on those features yet, however.
