Final Fantasy XIII Releasing in NA and EU in 2010

Although this was better foreseen than officially stated, Square Enix have confirmed to Reuters in Tokyo today that Final Fantasy XIII will not see release in North American and European territories until the 2010 financial year, starting April 2010.
As I said, it was seen coming as the port to the Xbox 360 starts after the game releases in Japan, and that should take a while to complete. Then throw in localization and you got a hell lot of time to wait.
