Microsoft released a few concept shots today of how your old themes will work with the new interface they announced Monday at their E3 2008 press conference.

Fear not for those who bought themes, they will still remain useful. [GALLERY]

Looking good 360. I love how colorful everything is. Sony really needs to step it up and start working on a new interface too.

Sure it’s copying so long as they do it right. The more I see the new interface for the 360 the more I get tired of the look of the XMB. Sony’s been using the XMB for a long time. It’s time for a new interface.

Sadly if we ever do see a new interface it’ll probably be next year. Sony has enough on their plate already without having to change the entire user experience for the console.

Thank goodness all the great games coming this year and early next will take my attention away from this madness. I’m just a sucker for beautiful interfaces. It’s what draws me to the new Leopard interface for Mac, the interface for the iPhone and the incredibly smooth interface of the upcoming HTC Diamond. If you haven’t heard or seen this phone in action Google and I promise you you’ll come away impressed.
