The new dashboard update for the Xbox 360 that was announced earlier today at Microsoft’s E3 2008 Pres Conference can now be seen in full circle in this new video. The features of the new dashboard are pretty cool, especially features such as the Primetime and the LIVE Party function. Enjoy the watch!

Holy crap!!! Did MS just s*** all over the PS3 and Home? In one word: yes.

The new interface isn’t revolutionary but it’s cool and simple and seems to do everything the blade system did but faster and more visually impressive. After getting over the fact that they ripped the iTunes Cover Flow interface you see that this was the best decision going forward.

What kills me is that while Sony was twiddling their thumbs and trying to make sure that Home was the best it could be, MS came up from behind and did everything Home will do but better and faster.

Sure you can only join up to 8 people at a time but if limitations means that it will work better and faster than I’m all for it. I have little doubt that MS will find a way to increase the amount of members for certain games in the future.

Chances are that they’ll develop specific “spaces” that will allow avatars to meet and greet. Sound familiar?

What’s worse is that Sony also recently removed the ability to upload photos to personal apartments for “legal reasons”. Well, looks like MS has better lawyers because with Live Party you can share pictures and video content.

Like Scrawl I’m looking to expand my horizons into another console. I’ve never been more interested and jealous of the 360 than I am today.
