LittleBigPlanet Infused Sony Presentation

The beginning of most press conferences are usually a bit boring and all about the company touting why you should be on board with them. You also usually have your eyes bled from being forced to watch boring spreadsheets, graphs, charts, etc. This time around Sony changed things up a bit.

The conference still had all the numbers and data they wanted to talk about, but it was displayed in a much more fun and friendly way. It was in what we call “sackboy interfacing”. Jack Tretton went through all the information while Alex Evans of Media Molecule ran the modified LittleBigPlanet that actually presented the information visually. It was a pretty ingenious and neat way to uplift a sometimes boring part of any presentation. In fact, why don’t you take a look at the video for yourself.

It was clear that one part didn’t work as planned but that was AWESOME!!!

Besides Killzone 2 and R2 I’m REALLY looking forward to LBP. Good job Sony.

Cool presentation even if it was partially flawed. Did he say “billion” and they showed million on screen?
