Eidos Interactive confirmed on Friday that Crystal Dynamics developed Tomb Raider: Underworld will be hitting consoles this November. They also unleashed a bit more on the story in which evil could doom the world.

Tomb Raider: Underworld represents an advancement in exploration-based gameplay,” the company said in statement. “Using every weapon in her arsenal — from her signature dual guns and expanded kit of archaeological tools to her own physical prowess and the environment itself — Lara Croft leads a quest that circles the world to uncover the secrets of the Norse underworld and a forgotten power, that if, unleashed could lay waste to all civilization.”

The official website has also launched, which contains news, screenshots, blogs, and more.

With a release date of November I’m sure they’ll be showing the game off at E3.

I still don’t think this game will top the beauty that is Uncharted but I’m willing to give it a try. I’ve been burned by Lara games in the past so hopefully they offer a demo. Otherwise I’ll rent first.
