Driver 5 Is In Development, Short Video
A new BBC story on British games development visits Ubisoft Relfections Interactive in Newcastle. Turns out they are working on the next Driver game, according the the BBC presenter along with the five second video at the beginning of the story. If so, Driver 5 could be making it’s way to our consoles soon. Hit the link for the video. The first five seconds is the gameplay footage.
Update: Ubisoft has issued a statement saying “Nothing more specific than this has been said.†pointing to the statement Yves Guillemot made in 2006 about Driver being one of the leading brands on next-generation consoles.
