UbiDays ’08: Far Cry 2 Trailer

Far Cry 2 is one of the anticipated games coming from UbiDays ’08. Far Cry 2 is the sequel to Far Cry, originally developed by Crytek. The game will be entirely open-ended and non-linear, hopefully bringing some life into a market saturated with first person shooters. Instead of using individual maps, the game will take place in a sprawling landscape in Africa with terrain ranging from the savanna to the jungle. Coming tomorrow, expect to see more from this already great looking title.

    Am I the only one that’s not entirely impressed? Far Cry has been one with insane graphics behind it’s name, but this is rather lacking in comparison to Killzone 2.

    Well I agree in comparison to KZ. Far Cry will be out before KZ arrives, so it gives it time to be played and enjoyed until KZ takes over in the fps market.

    I third that statement. KZ2 is the BEST looking game coming to the PS3 next year. Although I can’t wait to see what Team Ico has up their sleeve. They’re bound to come out with something insane.
